Facility Management (FM)
It is the strategic and integrated management of buildings, infrastructures, systems, and services, necessary to ensure efficiency, safety, comfort, and sustainability. These activities naturally include maintenance (both routine and extraordinary), energy management, services (cleaning, security, catering), regulatory compliance, and the optimization of space and costs, with the goal of maximizing the value of the real estate asset and supporting the company’s core activities.
EFFICIENCY
It is the characteristic of a production or distribution system that minimizes costs for the same results (or maximizes results for the same costs).
SAFETY
It is the condition that makes us feel free from danger and provides the ability to prevent, eliminate, or mitigate damage, risks, difficulties, and unpleasant events.
COMFORT
It is a purely subjective feeling perceived by the user, in the workplace or under specific service conditions, and is used to indicate the perceived “level of well-being.”
SUSTAINABILITY
It is the commitment to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own.
